广州应用科技学院国际合作与交流处是学校执行涉外政策，协调国际交流与合作、以及外籍教师和留学生管理的职能部门和办事机构。

主要职责：起草学校国际交流合作的发展规划；校际合作与交流；外籍教师和研究学者事务；学生国际化拓展；外国留学生事务；上级领导部门及校领导交办的其他各项事务。

学院简介

国际教育学院成立于2023年，现有学生158人，现有人力资源管理、会计学、财务管理、市场营销、视觉传达设计、广告学、计算机科学与技术、软件工程、英语、新闻学10个本科专业。2024年招收22个专业的学生。与美国、英国、澳大利亚、马来西亚等国多所知名大学建立合作关系，共同开展多种形式的国际教育项目，形成了本科与硕士相结合的国际教育模式，是广东最具国际化的本科院校之一。

人才培养目标：我们的目标是培养具有强烈的爱国主义意识、社会责任感、良好的职业道德、人文科学素养和较强的团队合作精神，掌握英语听、说、读、写知识，英语水平能达到国外生活和学术研究的基本要求，能胜任社会各领域的英语相关工作的学生。以粤港澳大湾区为依托，服务于国际教育产业的具有国际视野的高素质应用型人才。

专业特点：标准学制为4年。学生修完3+M学士学位课程人才培养计划规定的课程，达到毕业要求，准予毕业。符合学位授予条件的，分别授予广州应用科技学院学士学位和国外合作大学硕士学位。

就业前景与方向：学院与海外100多所大学建立了合作关系，并根据学生的学习成绩、IELTS 成绩、学术背景等因素优先推荐QS世界排名前200的大学，以及香港、澳门的大学。我们与澳门科技大学有一个研究生资助项目，学生每年都可以去学习。我校于2024年 5 月成立留学服务中心，为学校教职工和学生定制合理的留学项目，提供一对一个性化的留学规划和指导，提供一站式留学申请服务，可在校园内完成留学申请和签证办理。

我们拥有一支专业的IELTS教学团队，由优秀的海外教师和经验丰富的外籍教师组成。引进国外优质跨文化英语口语、批判性思维等语言课程，为学生打造具有国际水准的现代知识学习平台，培养学生依托专业从事国际相关领域的素质和能力。学院师资力量雄厚、专业水平高，团队工作人员均有海外留学或工作背景，硕士及以上学历教师比例达到100%。

学生每学期参加英语角、模拟联合国等社团活动。在学习期间，学校鼓励学生参加各种学科竞赛，并取得了显著成绩。国际教育学院实行小班制，每班 20人。对于留学生，学校配备了全校最先进的智能教室、视频教室、同步传输室等教学资源。

The School of International Education was established in 2023 consisting of 158 students from 10 undergraduate majors, namely Human Resource Management, Accounting, Financial Management, Marketing, Visual Communication Design, Advertising, Computer Science and Technology, Software Engineering, English, and Journalism. In 2024, we will recruit students in 22 majors.We have built cooperative relations with a number of well-known universities in the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, Malaysia and other countries, and jointly carried out various forms of international education projects, forming an international education pattern of integration of bachelor and master, which is one of the most international undergraduate universities in Guangdong.

Talent Cultivation Objectives: Our goal is to cultivate students with a deep sense of patriotism, social responsibility, good professional ethics, humanities and science literacy and strong team spirit, master English listening, speaking, reading and writing knowledge, and whose English level can meet the basic requirements of living abroad and academic research, capable of English related work in various fields of society and, moreover, with high-quality applied professionals with international vision that based on the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, serving the international education industry.

Professional characteristics: The standard educational system is 4 years. Students who complete the courses prescribed by the talent training program of the 3+M bachelor’s degree program and meet the graduation requirements will be granted graduation. Those students who meet the degree awarding requirements will be awarded a bachelor’s degree from Guangzhou College of Applied Science and Technology and a master’s degree from a foreign partner university.

Employment Prospects and Directions: Our college has established cooperative relations with over 100 overseas universities and gives priority to recommending the world’s top 200 QS universities depending on students’ academic performance, IELTS scores, academic backgrounds, and other factors, as well as universities in Hong Kong and Macao. We have a sponsored graduate program with Macao University of Science and Technology, in which students can go to study every year. In May 2024, our college set up a study abroad Service Center to customize reasonable study abroad programs for school staff and students, provide one-to-one personalized overseas study planning and guidance, and provide one-stop study abroad application service, which can complete study abroad application and visa processing on campus.

We have a professional IELTS teaching team, composed of outstanding overseas teachers and experienced foreign instructors. We introduce foreign high-quality intercultural oral English, critical thinking, and other language courses to create a modern knowledge learning platform with international standards for students and cultivate students’ quality and ability to engage in international-related fields that relying on our majors. Our college has a strong and professional faculty, with team staff having overseas study or work background, and the proportion of teachers with master's degree or above reaches 100%.

Students participate in club activities such as English Corner and Model United Nations every semester. During the study period, students are encouraged to take part in various subject competitions and achieved remarkable results. The School of International Education adopts small class sizes of 20 students each. For international students, the school is equipped with the best facilities of the school’ s smart classrooms, video classrooms, simultaneous transmission rooms, and other teaching resources.
